ALLOW THE HOW

Do you keep yourself from dreaming big or dreaming at all because you just don’t see how you could get the thing it is you want? We don't have to have every action step figured out in order to align with our authentic desires: Holding an intention and trusting ourselves to tune in and listen to our intuitive guidance is enough. Inspired ideas, universal nudges, and cooperative components all start to flow in when we allow the how to show itself to us.

Allowing the how is simple once we get the hang of it but it takes deliberate choosing.

First, we decide what it is we want. This actually happens naturally through our experience of life. As we experience life and contrast within it, we gain clarity on our desires, our preferences of what we want in life are updated automatically on a vibrational level, and our inner truth and knowing syncs up with the clarity.

Our deepest self always focuses on what we WANT in life.

Next, we TRUST that all updated preferences are possible and we KNOW the universal intelligence will show us the easiest way there. Now, the easiest way there is based on where each of us is at our current moment. To know where we are we need self-awareness. The path of least resistance differs from person to person because we all have belief systems we’re already working with. (Belief systems can change by soothing, but, the universe will always guide you with the current set of beliefs you’re working with).

Third, we ENJOY every step of the unfolding by deliberately guiding/soothing our thoughts into alignment with the way our expanded, vibrational self knows it to be. As we soothe our thoughts into alignment we begin to feel better. As we begin to feel better, more thoughts will start to flow in that are exciting and that feels amazing to think and believe.

As inspired ideas come through that feel good to act on, we listen to them and act on them for the sake of JOY. When we are living in Alignment we are living in Joy. This means: We do things because they feel good to do, not for any result we’re desiring from the action.

An example of this is through my experience of becoming a mother and having my body shift different ways through both pregnancies and labors, I have gained clarity on how I want to feel in my body.

I trust the Universe will guide me there the easiest way possible for me and I soothed my thoughts by feeling good in my current body along the way. I soothed my thoughts by allowing myself to purchase clothes that fit well at the shape I was and by knowing I was beautiful regardless of my size or shape. I also soothed myself by knowing that my body would shift perfectly to where I needed it to be if I allowed it so.

At 6 weeks postpartum, after being SO very gentle with myself and my thoughts around my body, the inspired idea of becoming a runner came into my mind. At first, I was not a runner so forcing myself to run long distances was out-of-alignment.

I asked myself what would feel good? Well, 30 minutes of alone time listening to a podcast, 3x a week was something that felt really good to me. I downloaded an AP that guided me to build up my running in a comfortable fashion (run 1 minute, walk 2 minutes, etc), and committed to 3 runs a week minimum. Even if I didn’t run, I committed to three 30 minute “movements” outside so that I got the alone time I was desiring.

18 months and 60 lbs gone later I have now found steady alignment with my body feeling great AND my running has developed to a 30-60 minute 5 day a week habit that is not forced. I now run habitually BECAUSE IT FEELS SO GOOD TO DO.

The result of my body shifting and remaining steady in a good feeling place happened through my alignment of feeling good about where I was FIRST and trusting the universe to guide me on the easiest path to where I ultimately desired to be. The best part is, I don’t restrict myself to any foods I desire. Truly. As I write this I just ate 2 Oreos and snickers from my daughter’s Halloween candy box.

What does it mean to guide our thoughts into alignment with our expanded self? We are built with an amazing, intuitive guidance system called our feelings. Our feelings are our indicator of if we are thinking in Alignment with our expanded selves or not. When we feel anything less than good, it is a signal that we are blocking ourselves from receiving universal guidance.

So, if the key is feeling good to receive, how do we feel better? Feeling better is the alignment process. It is a self-soothing, gentle, process where we use our mind tool deliberately to focus on what feels good to focus on.

When we FEEL BETTER, we are in receiving mode and inspired ideas flow in. You will know they are inspired because they feel good to think and are easy to act on.
